The topic in totality; make an exhaustive list: Think of the topic in totality. Write points under that. Write whatever that comes to your awareness over the topic. Make an exhaustive list, it could contain same points but said differently, make note of them too.

Arrange the topics: List the topics in a pattern, one after another as may be suitable for the communication effort.

Skeletal: Now you have an overall skeletal.

Detailing each topic: Take each of the points. Do the same things to this, treat each of them as a topic, and jot down points under each such topic as it may come to your awareness. Now it could take some time, don’t jump to the next topic without completing a present topic. Sit with the topic for sometime; make sure that you have listed all that comes to your remembrance.

Arrange the points under each topic: Now list the points under each such topic in a pattern. Club relevant points and see if they can be bought under a title. Each such cluster could be made into a paragraph. Ensure that the clusters have a flow, from one set to another that may cascade like a water fall.

Complete skeletal: Now we have a complete skeletal. We have the main topic, titles under that with relevant points clustered under subtitles.

Topics – Titles – Subtitles: Give shape to the titles by converting the subtitles into paragraphs with points clustered under them. An introductory paragraph with subtitles and conclusion marks the completion of a title. Thereafter move to the next title. In collective an introduction to the topic, completed titles and a conclusion will mark the completion of a topic.

Error correction: Flick through the entire document for necessary changes and for fixing errors.

Editing: Glance through it again for editing.

Refine the document: And run through the entire document all over again to refine the document.
